Ken Sutter Competition next weekend
February 29th, 2008The 2008 Ken Sutter Memorial Competition is on next weekend, the 8th and 9th March at the Dandenong Netball Complex, Greaves Reserve, off Bennet Street, Melways Map ref. 89K7. The Track events are on the Saturday, warm up 9.00am and racing from 9.30am. These are the events:
Senior A - 3 flying laps*, 500m, 3000m, 5000m
Senior B - 3 flying laps*, 500m, 3000m, 5000m
Senior C - 3 flying laps*, 500m, 1000m, 5000m
Junior A - 3 flying laps*, 500m, 1000m, 3000m
Junior B - 3 flying laps*, 500m, 1000m, 3000m
Junior C - 3 flying laps*, 500m, 1000m, 1500m
Silver - 3 flying laps*, 500m, 1000m, 1500m
Junior and Senior 3000m relays.
* 2 runs, combined times determine placing.
The Road events are on Sunday, warm-up 9.00am, racing from 9.30am, as follows:
Senior A - 500m T/T, 500m handicap, 3000m, 5000m points
Senior B - 500m T/T, 500m handicap, 3000m, 5000m points
Senior C - 500m T/T, 500m handicap, 3000m, 5000m points
Junior A - 500m T/T, 500m handicap, 1000m, 3000m
Junior B - 500m T/T, 500m handicap, 1000m, 3000m
Junior C - 500m T/T, 500m handicap, 1000m, 1500m
Silver - 500m, 500m handicap, 1000m, 1500m
The presentation of the perpetual Ken Sutter Shield will be made at the end of the competition on Sunday. (The 2007 winner was James Ke from Caribbean)
